SHIH TZU PUPPY SALE POLICIES & HEALTH GUARANTEE CONTRACT
BUYER/SELLER AGREEMENT
The puppy is guaranteed healthy at the time of purchase. The purchaser has 48 hours (business days) from the time of receiving said puppy, to have the puppy examined by his/her veterinarian as to the soundness of health. If the veterinarian finds any immediate life threatening health problems the purchaser may bring the puppy back to the breeder, with a letter from the veterinarian explaining the problem he/she found. Umbilical hernias are common in our breed and are not considered a life threatening health issue. The breeder must be contacted within the 48-hour period after purchase as to any problems, and the puppy must be returned within 72 hours of purchase. At this time the breeder will, upon receipt of the puppy, paperwork, and items given with the puppy, refund to the purchaser the full purchase price of the puppy. If the puppy was shipped, no refund on shipping will be given ever.
If the puppy expires before
reaching 12 months of age due to any proven illness incurred from birth defects,
a Veterinarian Certificate with Lab results must be provided plus the puppy must
have a necropsy done and results shown must state that it is definitely a
genetic issue, and reported to the Seller no later than 72 hours after puppy
expires. Breeder must receive all the certificates, lab results, health records
within 5 Business days. Sellers Vet will confirm any and all submitted
diagnosis/records. Once we have confirmation of the diagnosis, we will refund
100% purchase price of the puppy, excluding shipping, and veterinary bills. AKC
papers must be signed and transferred back to breeder within 5 Business days, or
no refund will be given.
This Health Guarantee will be
terminated if this puppy was abused, does not have an up to date health record
(every 3 months until one year of age) & all the vaccinations from the licensed
Veterinarian. This guarantee will also become null due to any injury, accidental
and unintentional to this puppy.
The Seller/Breeder of this
puppy is not responsible for any type of Veterinarian, Lab bills or any costs
incurred by this puppy after sale.
****Deposits are
non-refundable**** If a deposit was received for a certain sex, size, color and
we do not have one available, you may roll your deposit over to the next
available litter. All puppies are sold on a neuter/spay clause, altered prior
to leaving, or are given a limited AKC registration. No breeding rites. I
will not allow my dogs to be bred under any circumstances without my prior
permission. Show puppies will be the only consideration to this contract for
full registration, and a show contract will be initiated.
Buyer has full responsibility of all costs and care of this puppy after sale, and will provide this puppy with a safe, stable indoor home with proper dog food, proper training, and Veterinary care as needed.
The breeder is to be notified if the owner cannot keep the puppy for any reason. The breeder has first option to get the puppy back from the owner. Partial refund may be given. If a partial refund is given, it will be 7 days after receiving the puppy. If the breeder does not get the puppy back, the owner is to notify the breeder as to the new owners name and address and phone number. The breeder will also help you place your puppy if needed.
No puppy size or color will ever be guaranteed.
A dog carrier must accompany pick up of puppy. No puppy will be allowed to leave without having a carrier. If you do not have one, one will be provided at an additional cost.
By signing /reading this
document, both parties acknowledge that they have read, do understand and agree
with the terms of this policies contract. Both parties have a copy of this
contract.
